Summer, Beach and Bikini!

Hello God!

Thank You for Inspiration to invent bikini. It is hard to imagine our life without it. “Summer, Beach and Bikini!” is a new hendiatris that endorses hedonistic lifestyles or behaviors in hot weather.

LouisReard

On July 5th, 1946, the modern bikini was unveiled in public for the first time. French fashion designer Louis Réard hired Micheline Bernardini, an exotic dancer at the Casino de Paris to sport his two-piece creation after the runway models he approached refused to wear it.

This ‘revolutionary’ and iconic piece of beachwear was named after the Bikini Atoll in the Pacific. Reard dubbed “bikini,” inspired by a news-making U.S. atomic test that took place off the Bikini Atoll in the Pacific Ocean.

Réard described his ‘invention’ as “smaller than the smallest swimsuit.” He also said, “A bikini is not a bikini unless it can be pulled through a wedding ring.”

“A girl in a bikini is like having a loaded gun on your coffee table – There’s nothing wrong with them, but it’s hard to stop thinking about,” said Garrison Keillor. Oh he is right, so right. Even I can not stop to see and admire my favorite model from Victoria Secret Candice Swanepoel.

“Oh, how I regret not having worn a bikini for the entire year I was twenty-six. If anyone young is reading this, go, right this minute, put on a bikini, and don’t take it off until you’re thirty-four,” Nora Ephron writes in ” I Feel Bad About My Neck: And Other Thoughts on Being a Woman”. Her advice is wise. But why until thirty-four, I suggest at least until seventy-four! We, women, are created beautiful and our task to manifest our Beauty every moment of our life. It is the key of happiness of our world.

Please manifest your Beauty today and always! Happy Sunday!

  1. Without sounding “rude” nor “boyish,” I am very glad God made the woman such a beautiful being, inside and out! Further, I always like to thoroughly appreciate more of both aspects of her 😉

    Beautiful post, Gloria!

      1. Well on this subject we share a healthy appreciation for the opposite sex! Just they way it was designed to be…

I look forward to reading more on your site!

Ohhh you are so right about getting out there young and wearing that bikini. Lol The older we get the more picky we become of ourselves, hence the one piece bathing suit!! Hahaha

  4. Ahhhh…Summertime and the living is easy.

I enjoyed your post and I am longing for some summer fun in the sun…and it is making me want to book a flight to a warm beach.

  5. Hi Gloria, thanks for visiting my Blog, it has been some time since we have been in contact.

With all woman’s apparel it would be wiser to listen to God (see link below ) about how a woman should dress etc than a man or woman, is beauty really about how we look and is it really the key of happiness of our world.???

When I go swimming which is not often and is more like paddling, I don’t cover from my neck down to my ankles but I do cover what is needed not to cause others to sin.

Jesus said if a man lusts after a woman it is the same as committing Adultery. Lust is very different from the desire that comes from having sexual Love for a Spouse.

Many can share and so can I, that their first sexual encounter was on the beach, I wonder way …. is it because as you shared……

  6. Intriguing writing – I was drawn to this one, and found your analogy inviting. Thank you for discovering my blog so I could explore your words.

  7. A well researched piece on a controversial topic. I have always thought bikinis were hedonistic, but as a man when I see a women in a bikini this will turn my head. Honestly, I think life would be simpler if women covered up more nowadays. I certainly advise my teenage daughter to be discreet – she is 16 and so far, has always worn a one-piece.

  8. Well, if all women wore bikinis, it might cut back on the lusting in the heart quite a bit. It would certainly make a man think twice about marrying someone after they saw their grandmother in a bikini. I feel sorry for the young of today, they are literally drowned in sexual images and with women now joining in sex just for the fun also, it’s become a world where sex is only about pleasure, not love or relationship and a world without any reminders or warnings of consequences.
